Tanks with Bad Attribute Values
This analysis rule includes the list of tank elements that have Attributes with a quality flag set to Bad.
This can indicate the following:
- Failed communication link
- Missing data
- Invalid data
- Invalid tank configuration

Analysis Method
- Collect a list of all elements in the current Case created from the selected templates that satisfy the following criteria:
- Status Attribute value is IS (In Service).
- Test Attribute quality flag to see if set to bad.
- Write to the log section of the case. Report the violating tank information.
Configuration Using the Wizard
The configuration of the Tanks with bad Attribute values is a selection of the General Gross Error Analysis Rule. You open the window for configuring the test (shown in the following figure) from the General Gross Error Analysis Rule Wizard.
Open the Gross Error Configuration window as described in Configuring - General Gross Error Analysis Rule.
On the Tanks tab, select Tanks with bad Attribute values.
A Tanks with bad Attribute values - Attributes window opens.
Select the templates for which to collect elements. (See the following table for a description.)To select more than one template, hold the Shift key and click additional templates.
Attributes
Selection Description Template Name Select the templates to drive the Element collection. Default is SF_GaugedTankTemplate. Click OK to finish the configuration.
The text "CONFIGURED" displays next to the 'Tanks with bad Attribute values' selection.
